So, about a few short weeks ago – Facebook, the world’s social network, finally reached a billion registered users. To mark the occasion, Facebook came up with its first ever advertising campaign – Facebook Chairs.

In and of itself, the video sparked a lot of controversy. In case you missed it, it’s on Facebook’s login page – what has probably become the world’s most visited page. in addition, Facebook has also launched a system of promoting posts, in addition to page promotion.

The brilliant young minds at have ran a few experiments in the last 30 days and they’ve come to scary conclusions – DON’T promote your posts. This infographic gives a very good overview why.
